He’s going to burn – I want to see.
Forty thousand family members assemble from far and near,
bringing creations and selves to share;
to this annual reunion, giving to a community with collective soul and reason.
Together, we celebrate our man’s creation then pre-ordained ruin:
an inferno – his destiney lighting the blackened sky.
Flames journey from his ankles towards his neck.
Multitudes rejoice around this shrine and pyre,
his final fall brings cries of exaltation,
A blissful gathering: a carnival of dance, (covered in ash).
He’s going to burn – I have to see.
